I'd like to see where you guys end up with this. I didnt know it had two discs for the game though, thought it was only one, maybe its just two copies of the same disc? I really enjoy Drug Wars and Mad Dog 2, those are great shooting games! I wish someone would dump the original laser disc versions so they could be played via Daphne or something simular!! Id be quite happy to buy the discs ( working ones!! ), a player, and the aftermaket ROM board that can do all the games to i could make a proper setup, if i could only find any for sale. Most noticable is in Crime Patrol 2 Drug Wars, there is one whole section missing from one stage, so its like youre starting from the middle of that assignment. Sounds great mate yeah, i have the Daphne Singe edition emulator for all the American Laser games shooters, but they use the Digital Leisure PC CDROM versions of the games to get the video footage, which is fine, but the video quality is still down on the original arcade laser disc versions, and in a couple cases there are missing scenes. Dragon's Lair (original and the special limited edition)įunny: I was planning to do a setup soon, using a VP50 Pro for scaling the LDP output and a PC with the Daphne Emulator as hardware. Then there are the laser discs (arcade versions): I have three laser disc players (industrial type with RS232) and two arcade board sets (Astron Belt and Dragon's Lair II). I have them all for 3DO and PC, but they just arent as good as the original hardware.īarco CineMAX, 120" OZ Theatre Majestic 16:9 screen, H/K AVR 7.1. Specifically, im after any of the American Laser Games shooters. Does anyone have any of these lying around?
